Gallagher To Discuss Operational Intelligence and Its Role in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Safety, NAS Integration

InterDrone: The International Drone Conference and Exposition 2016 is a three-day event, Sept. 7-9, 2016, that will bring together the flyers, buyers and builders of commercial drones for an exhibition, conferences and networking events. The Sept. 9 panel discussion, “Integrating Drones into Our National Airspace,” will address the possibility and reality of urban integration of commercial drone operations and will feature executives from companies that are spearheading unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) integration into the National Airspace (NAS).

WHO:

In June, Kevin and his Simulyze team successfully deployed Mission Insight in support of the first U.S. ship-to-shore drone delivery. Taking place on the New Jersey coastline, the event featured independent drone delivery service Flirtey and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine demonstrating the potential use of UAVs to deliver medical supplies during a natural disaster or humanitarian crisis. The UAV flights were flown round-trip from a ship located about ½-mile offshore to the Cape May Ferry Terminal in North Cape May, N.J.
