Simulyze, Inc., a leading provider of operational intelligence (OI) technology and applications that empower both federal and commercial organizations, today announced it has been named as a finalist in the Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International’s (AUVSI) 2019 XCELLENCE Awards. Simulyze was nominated in the Data Connection Solutions category for its Mission Insight™ application that processes and analyzes large streams of data from disparate sources to provide UAS operators with a common operating picture (COP) in a customized graphical interface. Award winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at AUVSI XPONENTIAL on Tues., April 30, 2019 in Chicago.
Built on Simulyze’s proprietary operational intelligence (OI) platform, Mission Insight is an enterprise-level solution that provides unprecedented situational awareness in real-time to UAS operators. By creating a single, complete operational view of workflow data, from pre-operational planning to post-event analysi, Mission Insight enables safe and efficient commercial drone operations.
In 2018, Simulyze deployed Mission Insight in support of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Technical Capability Level 3 (TCL 3) National Campaign testing of its UAS traffic management (UTM) research platform. Directly supporting two UAS test sites in Alaska and North Dakota, Simulyze also completed NASA’s TCL 1 and TCL 2 National Campaigns in 2016 and 2017, respectively. The company has a Space Act Agreement with NASA in support of its UTM that runs through Dec. 2019. Simulyze also serves as a UAS Service Supplier (USS) for two Integration Pilot Program (IPP) projects awarded by the the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Recognized for its federal and commercial drone work as well as its support of the research and development of UTM projects with NASA and the FAA, Simulyze is the only UAS service supplier that has exercised with all build versions of NASA’s UTM software. The company continues to play an integral part in supporting ongoing research phases.
